How do I gain access to the trail network?
Join OFTR. Choose MORR as your home club. The club will be notified that you joined and will reach out to welcome you. You will get invited to our internal whatsapp group to hear about upcoming trail clearing, random rides and private events.
What type of trails are available?
Muskoka offers a variety of scenic trails tailored for off-road adventures, ranging from beginner-friendly paths to challenging terrains. Once joined a member can download the OFTR trail app which has all Muskoka trails as well as the rest of Ontario
Do I need to be a member to attend MORR events?
Generally speaking yes. The odd private event is open to other OFTR clubs but the majority are MORR exclusives
Do I need a license to ride an offroad motorcycle?
Yes, a bike will need a valid green plate for off road riding and a blue plate for dual sport adventures.
How often do people ride?
MORR has 10 organized events throughout the year but there are weekly "random" rides organized by various members. You can always find a group to ride with.
What safety gear should I wear while off-road riding?
Appropriate gear to keep you safe. Boots, helmut , protective armour. It gets hot on the trails so have plenty of water. "Camelbacks" are the preferred method. Slip a few tools in your pack just in case.
